I've signed Dad and I up to do a 5K run through Stanly Park in support of the BC SPCA. The event is called Paws for a Cause and donations go to supporting the rescue and adoption of great pets like me.

One of the great things about playing frisbee at The Mill is that I get to play with all kinds of interesting people - especially in the summer when the tourists are visiting Vancouver.
This is Luca. He's a great young boy who was visiting Vancouver from L.A.
Luca and I played a couple of times when he was here.
Maybe his mom and dad will bring him back to play with me again soon.
Or maybe dad will take me to Lalaland so I can be a movie star!

Vancouver has a few dog-friendly beaches, but this one is my favourite.

FINALLY a change of scenery!! A day of hiking at Joffre Lakes, it was challenging and the reward when we reached the third lake was awesome. What I didnt know was that a glacier lake could be so cold....
Not sure I like this tree bridge stuff but my peeps are doing it so...

I can't believe a year has gone by since my last post! If I had thumbs I'd type this myself, but I have to wait until my peeps get around to it. So here's what I've been up to over the past few months...snowshoeing, hiking, swimming and chasing my ring.
Here I am snowshoeing with my peeps at Mount Seymor in January.
Here we are on our first hike of The Chief...it was March and the snow was still on the mountain. It made for some interesting challenges for all of us, but we made to the top of Peak 3 and across to Peaks 2 and 1 for a fun morning of hiking.

I was at The Mill (The Mill Marine Bistro) the other day with my Dad and Uncle Richard. As always, I was putting on a show for the tourists - running and catching, teasing, playing keep away and the like.
Finally!!!
My uncle Troy has come back from California (for a few days) and came and picked me up. I was so excited to see him I couldn't settle down for several minutes. I gave him lot's of kisses to tell him how much I missed him and then I led him to the door so we could go out and play.
It was a dreary, rainy day but that doesn't bother me much as long as I'm with my herd.

When naming me, my Dad wasn't thinking about the other Blue Dog, a character made famous by American artist George Rodrigue. Nor did he actually realize that I would grow-up looking as similar as I do.
My Dad is a big fan of the other Blue Dog and has a print over his desk that Mom brought back for him from George Rodrigue's New Orleans gallery.

We were playing at the park, and a gentleman stopped to ask if it was okay to take my pictures. It turns out, the gentleman was Noah Fallis, a professional photographer from Calgary, AB.
Noah took some great photos of me, which you can view on my photo album.
Unfortunately, I was already tired from running, so I wasn't being a very co-operative model (Imagine that, a diva model!). I really just wanted to lay on the grass and enjoy the sun. And where's my cookie?
I know Noah wanted to capture that perfect shot of me catching my Aerobie - I guess he'll just have to come back to Vancouver and play with me again.
